Common Mode Chokes for EMI Suppression
- Mainly used to reduce noise conducted through power or signal lines.
- The common mode inductance filters symmetrical noise,
associated with Y-type safety capacitors connected to ground. - The differential mode inductance filters asymmetrical noise,
associated with X-type capacitor connected between Line and Neutral.
